Dr. Kotas established MCI with over three decades of specialized experience in steel sector transformation and strategic advisory. His expertise spans multi-billion dollar restructuring projects across five continents, having advised the World Bank, EBRD, and European Commission on national steel industry reforms.
His portfolio includes leadership of major steel privatizations, commercial feasibility assessments for multi-million tonne facilities, and strategic counsel to governments and international financial institutions. Dr. Kotas has directed restructuring initiatives in Poland, Czech Republic, and Croatia, while providing investment analysis for greenfield projects including a 10Mt integrated mill feasibility study for the Ethiopian Government.
